Pioneering lighting technology

When using Glowstone, there are no limits to your creativity. Together with hardening materials such as cement, concrete, plaster, epoxy or resin, Glowstone, which glows in the dark, forms an even surface.

GlowStone can be used both in- and outdoors, for example, applicable for tiling, floors and walls, and for terrace stones, cycle paths and footpaths as well as for pool borders.

As simple and clear as the product range of GlowStone is, so versatile are its applications in the private as well as in the public sector. A mere handful of successful projects with GlowStone.

The GlowStone is often used for roadway, directional or edge markings for pedestrians, cyclists or other road users. GlowStone can be mixed with coating materials based on epoxy or cement or can be worked into the surface area when laying asphalt.

Both daylight and artificial light sources provide GlowStone with enough energy for when it gets dark. External power sources or batteries are not needed.

While GlowStone appears inactive during the day, it starts to glow from dusk onward. Unlike lanterns or lamps, GlowStone has no programmed lighting times and does not suddenly shut off. It provides constant illumination and security in low light conditions – in addition to the unique design aspect – and aids in orientation.

After just 8 minutes of exposure to light, GlowStone glows for more than 12 hours.
